September and October were filled with another round of middle grade fiction, however Bud, Not Buddy is based on a true story, as well as Brown Girl Dreaming.

I love being near the public library - you just can't get the same selection of books on ebook yet, and I still prefer reading a paper copy anyways. I get this strange satisfaction from seeing myself progress through a paper book, the bookmark making its way through the pages, that I don't get on an ereader. Plus, reading off of a screen can't be very good for ones eyes.
