Peanut Brittle




Peanut Brittle

In a 2L microwave safe container:
1/2 Cup Rogers Golden Syrup
1 Cup White Sugar

Microwave on high for about 3 minutes, stirring partway through, and then microwave for a couple more minutes until a drop of the syrup will harden in a glass of water. (Candy consistency)

Quickly add:
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 Cup salted peanuts
1 Tbls of butter

Mix well and pour into a greased 9x9 baking pan. Spread evenly and then allow to cool completely.
Once cooled, pop out of the baking pan and break into chunks.
