Immovable, Unchangeable God
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. - James 1:17 ESVGod is immovable, forever holy, unchangeable, forever merciful, eternally just and right in everything He does. He is predictable.
Let us then draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. - Hebrews 5:16 ESVGod is outside of time. As the creator of the universe, He is omniscient: having unlimited knowledge, awareness, and understanding of everything there is to know. And yet, He chose to love us and desires a relationship with us, His creation. He chose us while we were spiritually dead in our sin, and made a way for us to to have new life and be united with Him for eternity. He chose us and loved us, and no matter what we do or how we "mess up" later in our lives, He still loves us. Because He is outside of time, He knew what our entire life would hold. He knew the sin we would commit when He died to save us. His love never changes.
His grace never ends.
