Delicious Pickled Green Beans


With the abundance of green beans coming from my garden, this is a lovely way to keep them around a bit longer! Plus, these are great to snack on and calorie friendly because there is zero added sugar to these pickles!


Washed and trimmed green beans
1/2 Cup Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
pinch (or more if you like spice) Dried Red Pepper Flakes
2 or 3 Garlic Cloves
Water

Carefully put green beans in your glass jar. Pack them in snugly. Combine the other ingredients, except water, in a bowl and mix. Pour into your jar and then top up with water to cover the beans.

Allow to sit in the refrigerator for at least 3 days before eating. These will keep for several weeks.
