Special Homemade Brown Sugar

I love making this homemade brown sugar. And it's real simple to do with a counter-top stand mixer. Making my own brown sugar was something I began doing before we moved to Madagascar, just to try it out before moving. We can't find it anywhere here. I have come to prefer the flavor over store-bought brown sugar, and it was more cost-effective in Canada.
Put 2 kilograms of white sugar (approximately 10 cups) and 8 tablespoons of molasses into the mixing bowl. You can use either fancy or blackstrap molasses. Use more or less molasses according to your own taste.

At low speed, mix sugar and molasses for about 7 or 10 minutes.
